Look closely
Usually, I say nothing meaningful at all
What I say in what I write
should be of no consequence to you but
you can choose to listen to the things unsaid
Listen to where your mind takes you
when you read about my lonely night
Look around you and see the world change
in an instant when you read about the way
i feel invisible and how that is my own making
Think a bit about the things I write
and then forget about it
because our memory is shapeless and our attention
fleeting
Remember to observe what you’re not thinking
Remember all that you deny
Imbibe all that you said you would do
Learn all the patterns of your neurotic needs like you learn
the meter and the rhyme
Forget about me
Forget the beauty of the poetry
Forget the passion of the art for a while
Start remembering the slippages of the youth
Begin noticing the life between the art you admire
Start again because you never know
The end is always lurking and most of the times it is
abrupt
